You can tell it's cooked with love. The bread was fresh, the steak was tender, and the chipotle mayo, provolone, onions and peppers were the perfect combination. We live in a Monmouth county, but we'll definitely be back! The place is nice and clean and the service was great! Oh, and we ordered the funnel cake fries to go. We ate them as soon as we arrived home. They were so delicious!! ”

They piled on the fresh steak, making sure you get your money's worth. The place was super clean, with plenty of tables for dining in. They offer free drink refills and have a small fixing station. The staff is very welcoming, and there's a small parking lot in front of the strip mall where they're located. ”

I searched many lists for "best cheesesteak in NJ" and unfortunately all were near Philadelphia. Chief's was the only one close to our destination so we gave it a shot and we were very happy. What is a cheesesteak without it? Well not a good one. This is gourmet all the way. From the cuts of what appears to be a tangle of ribeye once chopped and sizzled on the flat top grill. This place shines with authenticity. The bread is perfect. The whiz is perfect and coming out to my car to offer me napkins? Priceless. It's worth the drive. ”
